Aonach Eagach, meaning 'The Notched Ridge' in Gaelic, is a mountain ridge located in Glen Coe in the region of Fort William. Famous for being the narrowest ridge in the British Isles, Aonach Eagach is a scramblers paradise. It has two Munro summits;

- Meall Dearg meaning 'The Rounded Red Hill' and

- Store nam Fiannaidh meaning 'Peak of the Fiangalian Warriors'

This new topographical style collection is a development of our existing Mountain Series and explores the use of colour to create fun and colourful map prints in a poster-style format. So if monochrome isn't your vibe - we got you, and your walls covered!

Each piece begins life as all of my work does, with pen and paper! I use ordnance survey maps to create arial snap shots of each peak before I hand draw the linear skeleton of the mountain. Then, from here it's all digital baby. After utilising my trusty high res scanner, I use software to colour the contours with a mix complimentary shades from my bespoke colour palette. This part can take time to get just right!

Colours on screen may vary to real life, some of the images shown are photographs and others are digital mock ups. I've tried as hard as possible to capture the colours as accurately as possible :)

A4 & A3 prints are Printed onto recycled paper made from 100% post consumer waste. Woohoo! A huge win for nature and for your conscience!

Due to the nature of recycled papers, each batch may vary slightly in colour and you may see little flecks throughout the paper. We like to celebrate these tiny imperfections and see them as little flecks of added character

A2 prints are printed onto a heavyweight satin paper.

Hand drawn and designed in Scotland and printed in the UK.

All artwork is © of Kym Parker for Kilo Papa Studio
