Duke of Wellington Christmas Card

Every year I do a Christmas market in Glasgow City Centre, and every year without fail there are tourists positively flummoxed by the cone on top of the Duke of Wellington statue. They see my prints, greetings cards and Christmas cards and they think, "oh, this bird is bound to know the answer!" ...and they'd be right, I do. Gather round..

The cone was put there by students in the 80's and after a bit of toing and froing with the council/polis, and because Glasgow is sound as fuck, the cone got to stay. And that was that, 30+ years of confused tourists

And, at Christmas the cone sometimes gets a festive wreath popped around it. It looks fabulous, just like this Duke of Wellington Christmas Card, if I do say so myself. 

Please buy it. I drew the original illustration by hand. I then turned that into a digital artwork and use it to make cool Christmas cards and prints. I know you don't think it could possibly get any better but I thennnn have it all printed onto recycled papers made from 100% post consumer waste. Peace and love to Mother Earth y'all
